Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Double Pantograph Catenary of AC Rigid Catenary System

The Euler-Bernoulli beam theory is used to establish the vibration differential equation of rigid catenary, cantilever support device equivalent spring, and pantograph three mass block model. double-pantograph-catenary (DPC) dynamic coupling model established by using penalty function, utilize Newmark-β solved model, verifying reliability with field test contact forces catenary system (RCS) Xi’an Metro in China, illustrating characteristics fluctuation propagation structure combination sag catenary. Based on interaction mechanism between studied, including influence different spans, speeds force DPC, flow analyzed ANSYS, train induced wind tunnel studied DPC results show that when operates RCS a double pantograph, trailing (TP) more severe than leading (LP); Among common spans 6m, 8m, 10m, speed less 80 km/h, span 8m or 10m should be selected, 80-140 6m greater 140 minimum 6m; With increase velocity angle attack, pantograph-catenary increases, compared LP, TP greater.
